Iris Freie is an industrial pharmacist. She graduated from the University of Groningen in 1995.

Iris has more than 19 years of experience in product development and quality management within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, food supplements and cosmetics industries. She joined Zagt & Van Elk in 2015.

Her areas of expertise include:
– Safety assessments
– Claims substantiation
– Setting up and conducting stability studies
– Drafting procedures & specifications

Her interests lie in the area of borderline products: those products whose legal status is unclear.

Co-owner Ir Ameing Liao-Tang is Food Technologist. She graduated in 2002 from the Wageningen University.  Ameing has 10 years of experience in the cosmetic industry and she worked for multinationals like Unilever, Sara Lee and Colgate-Palmolive. She worked mainly as Product Developer and in those years she has developed many products  and carried out projects from concept phase to first productions. She has broad knowledge in the field of raw materials and their applicability in cosmetic products, product labelling (including claims), stability testing, doing safety assessments and writing specifications and production processes.
