Why
The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with the ‘jargon’ and the legal ‘requirements’ regarding cosmetics. After this course, you will know which information you need to collect, what is needed to market cosmetics in the Netherlands or Europe and what to expect from the Dutch government and other Dutch authorities.
For whom
This course is designed for you, if:
• you have not marketed cosmetics before
• you are a start-up company in cosmetics development
• you want to import cosmetics from outside the EU
• you are experienced, but feel you don’t know enough about the legal framework
We’ll add to what you already know!
The course is designed for one, maximum two persons. This allows us to adjust the course exactly to your situation, questions and level of knowledge.
Where and When
The date is set by appointment at your location. This way you have your products and documentation at hand and the course content can be tailored to your needs.
What
There are three modules of about 2 hours each (the exact times may vary):
10.00 Arrival, acquaintance: your products and plans
10.30 First module: EU legislation; Involved authorities; Product Information Files.
12.30 Lunch (provided by you)
13.00 Second module: Safety Assessments; Product claims; Labelling requirements.
15.00 Closing, appointments regarding the third module
Third module: is another 2 hours of our time that will be applied according to your wishes. This may be answering questions but may also be direct actions like checking your data, creating a file, reviewing brochures or labels, assessing the feasibility of claims, opinions on the composition or a mini on-the-spot GMP-audit.
Costs
Your investment is € 490 ex vat and excluding the travel costs of the trainer.
